Cemeteries We Work With in Rochester
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery sits just east of us on Lake Avenue, close enough that we coordinate with their office regularly. It’s the largest Catholic cemetery in the region, with sections for veterans and first responders, a mausoleum, and both traditional and green burial options. If your family has a plot there, we handle the permit and foundation approval directly, so nothing stalls once your design is finalized.
Riverside Cemetery, right next door to Holy Sepulchre on Lake Avenue, is city-owned and one of the larger public cemeteries we work with in this part of Rochester. We coordinate installation scheduling directly with the city’s cemetery office for families placing a monument here.
Mount Hope Cemetery, on Mount Hope Avenue on the city’s south side, is Rochester’s oldest municipal cemetery and one of the largest in the state. We work with families placing monuments there just as often as we do closer to home.

What We Build
Everything we make comes out of our own shop, not an outside supplier. That distinction matters more than most families realize until they’ve compared it to a company that ships in a pre-cut stone from somewhere else.
Upright monuments are the traditional standing memorials most families picture first, available in granite and bronze combinations with optional porcelain photo additions, single or companion. Slant and flat markers offer a smaller footprint for cemeteries that require them, or for families who prefer a simpler design. Bronze plaques and lettering cover both new inscriptions and adding a name to an existing family monument years later, matched to the original finish.
Memorial benches give a family a place to sit and visit, whether at a cemetery or in a private garden. Columbarium niches serve families choosing cremation, from small two-niche family units up to larger installations.
Mausoleums are our largest offering, custom-designed or pre-built family structures for those who want an above-ground resting place.
Our in-house artist also does hand and laser etching directly onto dark granite, portraits, farm scenes, or fully custom artwork worked from a family photograph. And when an existing monument has cracked, tilted, or faded, we repair and clean it using methods that protect the granite rather than pressure-washing it.
Granite Colors and Design
More than 90 named granite colors are on display in our showroom, from Academy Black to Bahama Blue to Dakota Mahogany. We’d rather have you see and touch the actual stone than pick from a photo, since color and grain vary more than most people expect once you’re standing in front of it.
Granite holds up against Rochester’s freeze-thaw winters in a way marble simply doesn’t. Marble is more porous, wears faster in this climate, and loses fine lettering detail within a few decades. Granite stays legible and structurally sound for generations, which is why nearly every cemetery in this region defaults to it.
