The Cemeteries Albion Families Trust Us With

Mt. Albion Cemetery sits on East Avenue, Route 31, east of the village. It’s owned and operated by the Village of Albion, and it’s one of the larger cemeteries we work with in this part of Orleans County. If your family has a plot there, we coordinate the permit and foundation approval directly with the village, so nothing stalls once your design is set.

St. Joseph’s Cemetery, also on East Avenue, is owned and operated by Holy Family Parish. We confirm material and monument requirements directly with the parish office before any design moves toward fabrication.

If your family’s cemetery is somewhere else in Orleans County, call us and we’ll confirm what’s required before you order. We’d rather ask the questions upfront than find out about a requirement after your design is already finished.

Every Piece Made in Our Own Shop

We don’t outsource fabrication to a supplier somewhere else. Upright monuments, our most requested style, come in granite and bronze combinations with optional porcelain photo additions, single or companion. Slant and flat markers work for cemeteries with size restrictions or for families who prefer something simpler. We also build memorial benches, columbarium niches for cremation, and mausoleums for families who want an above-ground resting place.

Bronze plaques and lettering cover new inscriptions as well as adding a name to an existing family monument years later, matched to the original finish. Our in-house artist handles hand and laser etching directly on dark granite, whether that’s a portrait, a farm scene, or something fully custom worked from a photograph. And when an older monument has cracked, tilted, or faded, we repair and clean it using methods that protect the stone rather than pressure-washing it.

Our Services for Albion Families

Choosing the Right Granite for Your Family

More than 90 named granite colors are on display in our showroom, from Academy Black to Bahama Blue to Dakota Mahogany. One family who worked with us picked Bahama Blue and told us they’d never seen anything like it once it was finished. That’s part of why we’d rather have you see the actual stone in person than choose from a photo.

Granite holds up against Orleans County’s freeze-thaw winters in a way marble doesn’t. Marble is more porous, wears faster in this climate, and loses fine lettering detail within a few decades. Granite stays legible and structurally sound for generations.

What Makes Us Different for Albion Families

We’re family-owned, and the person who answers your call is the same person who manages your order from start to finish. There’s no sales quota behind that conversation, and no pressure to decide before you’re ready.

Orleans County winters are hard on granite. Repeated freezing and thawing pushes against a monument’s foundation, and a foundation poured too shallow will let a stone tilt or separate within a few years. We build every foundation to account for that from the start, not as a repair after the fact.

We handle the cemetery paperwork directly, whether that’s Mt. Albion, St. Joseph’s, or another cemetery in the county, so you’re not the one making repeat calls to a cemetery office during an already hard week. And if you’re planning ahead rather than facing an immediate need, we can walk you through design and granite selection now, with everything documented so your family isn’t making those decisions later. Financing is available if spreading the cost helps.
